Our not-for-profit garden centre and horticultural wellbeing service is undergoing maintenance work to ensure it’s warm and cosy for the colder months, and to be able to provide an even better experience for visitors.
The work includes a new composite roof to improve insulation, shop refurbishment and kitchen renovation to be able to offer an enhanced café menu.
Mayfield Garden Centre will remain closed until the first week of December while the work is undertaken. Wellbeing courses will continue to run off-site.
Jude Gardner, Acting Operations Manager for Southampton Services at Mayfield Garden Centre, said: “It’s an exciting time here at Mayfield Garden Centre as we undergo a much needed refurbishment to make our centre warmer and cosier for our community.
“We are hoping to open again in the first week of December and can’t wait to reveal our revamped space to visitors in the readiness for the lead-up to Christmas.”
