Festive fun and community spirit bloom at Mayfield Garden Centre this Christmas
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Mayfield Garden Centre, and we’re pleased to announce a host of festive experiences to spread holiday cheer whilst continuing to support the local community with their mental health.
Our 2025 Christmas programme of events will include a Christmas and Craft Fayre, which will take place at Mayfield Garden Centre from 10am-3pm on Saturday 29 November.
Featuring live Christmas music, craft stalls, children’s activities and festive treats from our recently refurbished café, the Fayre promises a magical day out for the public and their four-legged friends – with dogs welcome throughout Mayfield Garden Centre.
We have also extended our gift selection with a plethora of presents for all ages, interests and budgets, and will be adding new specials to our café menu as well as running regular food and drink promotions throughout the festive season.
What’s more, we’ve launched a photo competition to win a £50 voucher to spend in our shop and café this Christmas. To enter, members of the public simply need to share a photograph of themselves with a new, custom-built Santa’s Sleigh that’s landed at Mayfield between now and Sunday 14 December.
“This is such a special time of year for us – not only because we get to share the festive spirit with visitors of all ages, but because every penny spent in our shop and cafe is invested back into helping people within the local community who may be experiencing poor mental health,” said Jude Gardner, Acting Operations Manager for Southampton Services at Mayfield Garden Centre.
