Sadly, our Plants for People Project is coming to an end after six years in Southampton’s communities.

The project’s external funding has come to an end, meaning that our team will no longer be able to support local residents with gardening and nature-based activities across the city from August 2024. However, the community gardens created through the project will remain for local use.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported Plants for People, and especially the many residents and local families that have got involved. We have loved working with you all and seeing our communities bloom.

Our Mayfield Garden Centre and other community and wellbeing projects are not affected.
